I was invited to be a part of a collaborative project called 30 Days of Thankfulness. Each day a different (and amazing) photographer captures an image that represents what she is grateful for. This was my submission for November 12th.

I am grateful for the power of a photograph. Some make us literally laugh out loud. Others bring us to tears. Or we are taken to another time or place. They can even represent the past, present and future. As I look at this image, I see a little girl nearly too big for my hands. I remember a baby girl who barely fit in them. I look forward to a girl who will always look the them to hold.
